My very first post…

Holy Sh**!  I can’t believe I am doing this.  I took the leap into the cyber unknown and here I am.  So this is my first post…let’s see how this goes.

Why did I decide to start a blog….hmmm.  I guess I really decided to start a blog because I felt like my professional life was pretty boring. I mean, my normal 9-5 is in the financial sector and well, to be honest, I had dropped into some doldrums about it.  I wasn’t using my degree (in English, thank you very much) and there was ZERO creativity in my life.  I was just getting up everyday, and living my life, without really living it. It is so easy to do that isn’t it?  To let daily life slip by and not see the good in the small things.

So what better way to focus your attention on all the good in life than having to describe it accurately to a complete stranger? And so the blog begins.

I plan to chronicle my path wherever that takes me.  With special appearances by my man, and my dog. They tell me I am good at cooking, so we will talk about food for sure; traveling adventures; and really whatever moves me at the time.

So to quote a great movie:

“I’m going on an adventure!”
